Vernon Parish 4-H Teen Leaders have collected close to 700 pounds of aluminum tabs that were donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Monroe. The tabs are recycled and the money is used for household expenses when donations do not cover the costs.

Adult and youth 4-H Leaders from 9 parishes in the Southern Region attended a workshop day help in Ville Platte.

Twenty-three 4th – 6th graders from across Vernon Parish recently participated in Summer 4-H Camp at Camp Grant Walker in Pollock, LA along with 512 other campers, teens and adult volunteers from Rapides, Allen, Caddo, Evangeline, and Jackson Parishes.
