Explore the Louisiana 4-H Museum and experience the history of 4-H in Louisiana from its beginnings in 1908 as a boys’ “corn club” to what it is today – a nonformal educational program reaching more than 225,000 boys and girls each year with hands-on learning experiences in clubs, camps, clinics and curricula. During the first 100 years of Louisiana 4-H, it is conservatively estimated that more than 4 million youth became involved in 4-H. That’s a lot of people!

The museum is located in Mansura, La., as part of a facility that includes the LSU AgCenter’s Avoyelles Parish Office, Southern University Extension Service's Avoyelles Office and the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism. See inside the museum here and find a map to location here. Additional links to museum information can be found in the menu on the left.
