Album First-Ever to Feature Celebrated 4-H Alumni
The 4-H Program is offering for sale “Clover Country: Songs From Famous 4-H Alumni”—the first music CD hits compilation featuring famous alumni released by a youth development organization to raise funds to support its work on behalf of America’s young people.
“Clover Country” features Grammy-winning song writer, Hillary Lindsey’s “The Clown,” which was exclusively recorded by Lindsey for the album, and favorite songs from country music mega stars and 4-H alumni Sugarland, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Luke Bryan and Alabama.
“Clover Country” is a result of a premier partnership between National 4-H Council and EMI Music. Funds raised from the sale of the “Clover Country” will be used to support 4-H programming across the United States. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Clover Country” will be used by National 4-H Council to further its support of the 4-H Youth Development Program.
Learn more about “Clover Country” or purchase copies of the CD from the 4-H Mall at www.clovercountrycd.com. Ten percent of the price of CDs purchased from the 4-H Mall are shared directly with the buyer’s state 4-H program through the National 4-H Supply Service Fair Share Program.

It is operated in Louisiana by the LSU AgCenter to make a difference in the lives of young people, their families and their communities by helping them development skills and knowledge that will assist them throughout their lives. Today’s 4-H program touches more than 200,000 young people each year through its projects, camps, school enrichment curriculum and educational trips that cover a range of topics including science, engineering and technology, citizenship, leadership and healthy living. National 4-H Council is the national, private sector, nonprofit partner of the 4-H Youth Development Program and its parent, the Cooperative Extension System of the United States Department of Agriculture.
